CSMA Successfully Hosts ACTECO’s 2007 Fall Meeting

Around 50 industry and academic staff attended the latest ACTECO educational day held at CSMA headquarters on the 17th October.

The day highlighted the work undertaken by the ACTECO partners in the area of plasma technology and is applications in three main areas, bio implants, textiles and food packaging, with guest speaker Dr. Imran Khan of Biomet Europe highlighting Biomet’s use of plasma technologies to apply coatings to orthopaedic implants.
